Who we are
The Fire Industry Association (FIA) is the UK’s largest fire safety trade association. We are a not for profit, member led company limited by guarantee. Our purpose is to raise fire safety standards through representation, training, technical guidance, and research. We uphold third party certification across our corporate membership to promote quality and competence.
Our mission
We promote, improve, and perfect fire protection methods, devices, services, and apparatus. We deliver this by representing our members to government and standards bodies, advancing best practice through technical guidance, and investing in education and research that improves life safety.
