EWS-1 Portal for External Wall System Forms
The Fire Industry Association provides a central, verified EWS-1 Portal for the UK market. Buyers, sellers, leaseholders, valuers and lenders can search by postcode and download available EWS-1 forms. Competent signatories can register to submit new forms or upload existing ones.
About EWS-1, PAS 9980 and building height
An EWS-1 form supports the mortgage and valuation process for multi occupied residential buildings. It does not replace a full Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls. That appraisal follows PAS 9980 guidance and may be required by duty holders.
Most requests relate to buildings of 18 metres and above. Some mid rise buildings may also be in scope, depending on construction and lender requirements.

Qualified professionals can submit forms through the portal. You will need evidence of accepted memberships and qualifications.
Simply create an account and upload proof of professional membership and qualifications. Once approved, you can submit existing PDFs or complete one online. Submissions are chargeable - check the portal for rates.
