The Fire Industry Association (FIA) manages the certification process for companies working with systems containing F-Gases. Follow these steps to apply for or renew your certification.

 

What you need before you apply

Before submitting your application, ensure that your company:

  • Works with systems containing F-Gases in installation, servicing, or maintenance
  • Holds the necessary competence within its technical team
  • Has completed or scheduled the required technician training

 

Fees

All applications must include a non-refundable application fee. The current costs are:

  • Application fee: £30 (non-refundable)

  • Certification: £318 (total £348)

  • Re-certification: £138 (total £168)

Re-certification applies where a full certificate has expired, been withdrawn, or requires renewal.

 

How to submit and pay

Complete the form below and then make payment by either:

  • By cheque, payable to ‘Fire Industry Association’
  • Via our eShop
  • By invoice against a purchase order (available to FIA members only)

We will process your application once payment has been received.
