Emergency Lighting to BS 5266-1

This course is ideal for:

  • Engineers who are responsible for emergency lighting systems wanting to be able to assess and demonstrate the suitability and condition of the system for a specific site

At the end of the course an online Pass/Fail test is taken and an FIA digital certficate is issued on passing the test.

Delegates should have an electrical background and knowledge of FD&A systems as well as basic knowledge of lamps and light fittings.

Engineers will gain the knowledge and understanding to be able to provide advice on emergency lighting, design a lighting scheme and be able to install, verify and ongoing maintainence as required including also fault rectification and associated certification.

They will be able to audit an existing system, provide advice on routine maintenance and to carry out periodic and remedial servicing.

This course is accepted as part of the BAFE SP203-4 scheme.
