Refresher on the Service & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers

This course is aimed at anyone who has previously completed training and an exam in the servicing and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers or has consistently kept up to date with their three-year refresher training.

BS 5306 recommends that technicians involved in the servicing & maintenance of portable fire extinguishers undergo regular refresher training to ensure that their knowledge and skills remain current.

This course covers any updates to the latest legislation, guidelines, working practices and technology and is designed to ensure a delegate's knowledge and skills remain current.

Delegates must have previously passed a full portable fire extinguisher service & maintenance course and successfully passed an approved exam.

By successfully completing the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers
  • Provide advice on the suitability and the positioning of portable extinguishers

In addition, delegates will be able to take their course manuals away to refer back to throughout their career.
