Membership Criteria

To join the FIA, your company must hold relevant Third-Party Certification (TPC) or be actively working toward it. We offer probationary membership for up to one year while you complete certification.

What is Third-Party Certification

TPC is an independent, UKAS‑accredited assessment that verifies competence against British Standards and recognised best practice. Accredited bodies audit companies each year to confirm consistent quality and compliance.

Why Certification matters

TPC helps responsible persons choose competent providers with confidence. Selecting a third‑party certified company is a simple way to demonstrate due diligence under fire safety legislation.
