The earliest records of the BFPSA show a marked difference from the first FETA minutes of 50 years previously, showing the rapidity with which technology moved on in the fifties and later – FETA discussed using buckets of water to put out fires, but BFPSA start out with an extract about a major alarms project which reads ‘the committee should consider the questions of line-transmission, data processing...’
