As well as having an FIA stand at the Emergency Services Show earlier this month and sponsoring the Exhibitors’ Drinks Reception, FIRESA Council’s Chairman-Elect Bernie Higgins was among those presenting as part of the event’s Public Sector Procurement programme of seminars.
Bernie delivered a terrific address that covered the work of the Council and its role in the evolution of our Fire and Rescue Services, highlighting aspects such as collaborative procurement, FRS R&D and Council’s involvement with NFCC and the Home Office.
